Freed from jails in Pakistan, 26 Afghan nationals have arrived in their homeland via the Spin Boldak crossing, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Monday.
In a statement, MoRR said the freed individuals had spent two to three month in the Haji Camp prison. They were released as a result of efforts by Afghan officials.
“The Afghans had been detained for lack of legal documents,” the statement said.
The returning Afghans were transferred to their native areas after being given assistance, the ministry added.
