Top-order batter Sediqullah Atal once again impressed with the willow, scoring a stylish half-century before being dismissed. His opening partner, Abdul Malik, contributed 29 runs, continuing his solid form.
Rahmat Shah Zurmati (17*) and captain Hashmatullah Shahidi (20*) ensured there were no further hiccups, guiding Afghanistan to victory.
AM Ghazanfar was named Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling performance, taking five wickets for 33 runs in his 10-over quota.
SediqullahAtal was honoured as the Player of the Series for his brilliant batting display, amassing 156 runs at an average of 78.00, including a century and a half-century.
The outcome marks Afghanistan’s sixth consecutive series win this year. The second one-dayer had to be called off due to rain last week.
The team will now shift focus to the upcoming two-match Test series against Zimbabwe, with the first match set to begin on December 26.
