Unidentified militants have kidnapped seven policemen from their check post in the Bannu district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, local media reported on Tuesday.
District Police Officer Ziauddin told GEO News unidentified gunmen seized control of the Rocha check post and kidnapped seven police personnel along with their weapons.
According to the private TV channel, the kidnapped personnel were identified as Saleem, Aqal Rehman, Mewah Jan, Roshan, Abdul Malik, Niamatullah and Shad Muhammad.
In early November, unknown gunmen had kidnapped a police officer from his home in Bannu district.
