The Afghanistan-A team has travelled to Oman for a tri-nation T20 series, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced on Monday.
The board wrote on its Facebook page the national squad left Kabul for Muscat this morning.
The series, involving Afghanistan A, Oman A and Hong Kong, will kick off on October 13.
Afghanistan-A would also participate in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, which is scheduled to commence on October 18 in Oman.
ACB also named a 14-member squad for the tri-nation series on Sunday night.
Squad:
Darwish Rasooli (C), Numan Shah (WK), SediqAtal, Mohammad Ishaq (WK), Zubaid Akbari, Wafiullah Tarakhel, Shahidullah Kamal, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Nangyal Kharoti, Karim Janat, Qais Ahmad, Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar, Faridoon Dawodzai, Bilal Sami and Abdul Rahman.
Saleem Safi, Hassan Eisakhel, Sediq Pacha and Bashir Ahmad are among the stand-by players.
