US President Joe Biden has ordered another package of military aid to Ukraine, says the White House.
A White House statement, cited by TASS news agency, said Biden had signed a memorandum signed regarding the $375 million Ukraine military assistance package.
The MoU authorises Secretary of State Antony Blinken to direct the drawdown of up to $375 million in defence articles and services of the Pentagon and military education and training.
Meanwhile, Blinken said the package would include cluster munitions, rounds for HIMARS multiple rocket launchers as well as Javelin and TOW missiles.
“It includes additional munitions and support for HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System); 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition; cluster munitions; armored, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) and light tactical vehicles; patrol boats; small arms; and anti-armor capabilities, including missiles, and anti-tank rockets; as well as spare parts, ancillary equipment, training and transportation
