The World Health Organization (WHO) says nearly half a million people in the world die from suffocation every year.
WHO Afghanistan wrote its X handle: “Every year, nearly half a million people lose their lives as a result of suffocation in the world, Tobacco smoking is a key risk factor”.
According to doctors, shortness of breath means feeling unable to breathe or difficulty in breathing; this condition can be temporary or chronic and may occur in different conditions.
Respiratory diseases caused by inflammation in the lungs, infections in the lungs, heart diseases and heart attacks are found in people.
