Iran’s aerial operations against Israel could last three to four day, a lawmaker says amid mounting tensions in the Middle East.
Iranian Parliament National Security Commission member Bakhshayesh Ardestani issued the warning in an interview with Iran Watch on Saturday night.
“Iran is certainly prepared to accept the consequences of such an attack and will be ready for any subsequent developments,” he said.
The parliamentary panel’s member suggested the Islamic Republic’s air operations against Israel could last three to four days.
Despite the fact that no group had claimed responsibility for the killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, he claimed, investigations by Iran’s security and intelligence agencies suggested the attack was carried out by Israel.
He added “bloodshed would be carried out” to avenge the death of Haniyeh, who was killed in Tehran where he was attending the inauguration of President Pezeshkian.
“Therefore, Iran’s response to this crime of the Zionist regime will be definitive and there is no doubt about it,” the lawmaker commented.
