Afghan freefighter Wahidullah Nazhand will face his Czech rival Jacob Bhinak in Stuttgart.
Nazhand wrote on his Facebook account that the match would be played on March 23 in Germany’s city.
According to Nazhand, this will be his 55th competition at the MMA event in the weight category of 74 kilograms.
His sister Azita told Pajhwok Afghan News the contest would be organised by one of the most prestigious German organisations in Germany. It will be an important event for Nazhand.
She said: “If he wins, Nazhand will qualify for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).”
His opponent Jacob Bhinak has scored nine wins and four defeats. Nazhand has seven wins and two losses.
Earlier, Nazhand defeated his Polish opponent in a New Flying Competition (NFC) on September 24 last year.
