Afghan athlete Khushal Sadat has won a silver medal in an international marathon contest in Iraq, the Afghanistan Athletics Federation (AAF) said on Saturday.
AAF wrote on its Facebook page that Khushal Sadat won the silver medal in the second group of the third round.
It said the competition was held in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq and athletes from 27 countries participated in the event.
Earlier, an Afghan athlete, Shah Mahmood, had clinched the first position in athletic competition in Iran.
