Afghanistan’s wheelchair basketball team has got ninth position in the Asian and Atlantic games, according to the Afghanistan Wheelchair Basketball Federation on Saturday.
The Federation of its Facebook page wrote that Afghanistan lost to Saudi Arbia at the margin of nine points and got ninth position.
Eleven teams participated in the games and Afghanistan, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia were in the same group.
In the first stage Afghanistan won matches from New Zealand, Philippines and the UAE and in the second stage Afghanistan lost matches to Iran, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
