Seven people have been killed and 10 others injured in the collapse of a three-storey hotel located in Pakistan’s central province of Punjab.
The private hotel on the busy Grand Trunk Road in Jhelum city collapsed following a gas cylinder explosion on Sunday, local officials said.
At least seven bodies have been retrieved from the rubble, with 10 injured under medical treatment, rescuers said.
The explosion did not occur in the hotel building but in a cylinder shop in the basement, the district police chief said.
